  • Gathering market intelligence in conducting industry & company research for the purpose of setting up SME funds. Updated knowledge and awareness of recent developments in the financial and economic environment impacting the private sector environment across member countries.

    To identify key growth sectors and opportunities for the platform. Understanding of the environmental triggers impacting key sectors and industries across member countries, and their strategic drivers.

    Preparing project deliverables by developing investment concept material, help in conducting discussion of partners, conduct due diligence, financial analysis, modeling, and structuring.

    To assess portfolio performance for funds being operated out of the Alternative Investment platform.  Understanding of key financial indicators, such as IRR, NPV, profits total return etc. in order to gauge return on assets allocated. Awareness of market returns and benchmarks for fund performance regionally, as well as globally.

    Preparing execution documents and proposals for Investment Committee Management (ICM) approval.

    Preparing client presentations and other related documentations as and when requested by the Program Lead. Assist the team in setting up funds objectives, and structure funds in a profitable manner. Identify investors, initiate initial contacts with the potential fund managers and investors.

    Monitoring activities, reporting and performance of existing launched funds making sure that in line with the fund objectives, ICD's overall risk and investment guidelines, and report performance of funds.

    Preparing feedback documents to partners and clients to update them about the status of their proposals.   

    Support the program lead in developing new funds and strategic partnerships; knowledge management; fundraising, communications and policy outreach.

    Being able to manage the phases of the project cycle, from concept to implementation.


  • Master Degree in finance or banking.
  • Post graduate certificate CFA, CMA, CPA is an advantage.
  • 5 - 7  years experience in Asset Management and SMEs, preferably covering SME or Private Equity Sector Based Funds..
  • English is a must
