 Job Role         

The Events Marketing Manager is arguably one of the most important jobs for our events department. It is the responsibility of the Events Marketing Manager to build awareness, drive interest and ultimately put “bums on seats” _at our events. Our events include conferences, seminars, roundtables etc. Without an effective event marketing strategy and implementation, events stand a slim chance of success. The individual will be set delegate targets per event, and it is the responsibility of the Marketing Manager to ensure these are met.

Duties

The below will detail the specific duties that will be expected of an Event Producer at CPI Financial for any event, and dependent of type of event:

 

  • Co-ordinate the event marketing activities of CPI Financial, working closely with event producers to meet the objectives and targets set by Events Manager
  • Develop effective event marketing campaigns that support event objectives, optimizes channel mix and supports customers, and prospect engagement and opportunity progression (delegate and sponsorship leads)
  • Lead data build and capture campaigns to facilitate events moving into new markets with new audience profile different than existing banking and finance clients
  • Ideate, create and develop on-brand design / re-branding initiatives for CPI Financial Events in line with publication vision and target markets
  • Plan and execute marketing management of CPI Financial signature events including newly introduced BME Conference, WEALTH Arabia Summit and all 3rd party managed events
  • Work closely with Events Manager / Producer and Operations Executive to deliver on-brand solutions onsite at events in line with in-house and client priorities
  • Work closely with Operations Executive to ensure branding is positioned onsite in optimal locations and develop unique ideas for optimal branding solutions for attendee experience
  • Work closely with Events Manager / Producer to lead event analytics efforts including defining KPIs, root cause analysis and action plans
  • Work closely with Events Manager / Producer to develop effective design and content for pre, during and post-event collateral (delegate brochure, sponsorship prospectus, online, delegate packs, onsite visuals, post-event report etc.)
  • Work closely with Events Manager / Producer on event analytics efforts including KPIs, root cause analysis and action plans
  • Manage event marketing budget effectively to optimize exposure of event to ensure footfall at all events

Physical Demands      

  • Office-based work environment (During stressful work periods, a Producer may prefer to work in a quieter, less disruptive environment, and within reason, and with the correct approval from Line Manager, will be able to work remotely)
  • Frequent use of computers (CPI Financial will provide laptop to Producer)
  • Domestic and international travel to and from client offices/suppliers/partners/events/venues
  • Out-of-hours attendance at events is a requirement
  • Ability to work towards and meet deadlines
  • Ability to manage stress levels

 

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of marketing for events (conferences/exhibition preferably)

Previous experience with working closely with sales, editors and design teams in an events environment (conferences and exhibitions)
